“For unto us a child is born, and unto us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulders, and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” — Isaiah 9:6
Greetings everyone,
I hope this letter finds you and your family in good health as we begin to celebrate the week of Christmas. Tonya and I are at home here in Tennessee anxiously awaiting our children and grandchildren coming through the doorway with excitement as we share this special time of the year.
I had mentioned in the last letter that I would be sending some animal photos from our safaris – here are a few of the many amazing pictures:

This photo was taken at Amboseli National Park on the border of Kenya and Tanzania. The mountain in the background is Mt. Kilimanjaro (the tallest mountain in Africa). There is snow at the top year around.

I am curious to know if any of you would like to go with Tonya and I on the next trip to Kenya. There is a possibility of us going back in November of 2026. We like to schedule the safari around the graduation ceremony with Alef University. This time of the year is just after their busiest safari schedule. There are a lot fewer people in the camps you stay in along with fewer vehicles in the parks. Kenya is a very safe country that is mostly Christian and pro-American. Contact me at mlbourassa@comcast.net if you have more questions about going.
The January Newsletter will go over some of the accomplishments in the Lord that Tonya and I were a part of in the year 2025.
May you all have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
Sincerely,
Mike & Tonya Bourassa
